When the shelves are empty, that shape is gone for good. Take yours while it's here.

A December print: Red Feather, quilted onto a bag that holds the whole gift run.

It swallows a toiletry bag, a hairbrush and the things that always end up loose at the bottom of a suitcase.

Coral A., Cornwall

It sits open on my dressing table and looks like something I paid three times as much for. The flowers are stitched in, not printed on.

Margaret S., Devon

This one lives in my suitcase now. The lining wipes clean, the zip runs smoothly and it has not creased or gone saggy.

Olive V., South Yorkshire

The robins caught my eye and the quality kept me. Far more fits in than the size suggests and it still closes without a struggle.

Georgina T., Northumberland

The hummingbird is worked so finely that I keep running my thumb over it. The perfect size for a handbag and it takes daily use in its stride.

Rosalind C., Merseyside

Deep, warm colours and a properly quilted body instead of thin fabric. I bought it as a treat for myself and I have no regrets.

Tess K., Victoria

Wonderful quality for the price. The zip keeps everything secure and the fabric feels sturdy.

Every Stitch Tells a Story

For years, we picked every leather ourselves and had every order packed with care. Now it's time to turn the page and start a new chapter. Every bag that's left is looking for a new home — and we'd love it to be yours. Shipping is free.

Our Story

About Edith York

Every bag in this shop began the same way — with a leather we loved ourselves, and the belief that the things we carry every day should be beautiful.

After years of choosing leathers, it's time to turn the page.

We have spent years hunting for leathers you won't find on a high street shelf, and having them made up into these bags. Now we are turning the page — a new chapter, a smaller and sharper edit. Rather than lock the remaining bags away, we would rather send them to homes that will love them. That's why they are up to 60% off now — with free shipping. Thank you for being part of this chapter. ❤️

Little help if something goes wrong
Forgotten in a drawer

The comparison is with cheap quilted bags as a product class, not with any named seller.
