Briar Copper Necklace

There is something special about a piece that sits close to the body, as if it was always meant to be there. I created the Briar with this thought: a necklace that quietly carries its weight, just as old things do.

Each heart-shaped element has been hand-shaped and linked together, one by one, until the whole piece found its rhythm. This kind of work takes time, and I have never found a way to speed it up.

Copper worn close to the body is one of the most ancient things a person can afford. People have been returning to it for millennia, and those who wear it daily rarely want to part with it.

I hope this piece meets someone who keeps it close.
