Copper Bracelet

A few pieces quietly speak of what they do. This is one of them. Smooth and close to the skin, polished rose copper with two spheres that sit precisely on the wrist's pulsating points. It has a simple form. Simple forms are the hardest to execute correctly.

I hand-shape the band and gradually polish it - each pass slower than the last, until the surface reflects the light just as I want it to. The spherical terminals are shaped separately and are the last to be added.

The wrist is where people have worn copper the longest. Close to the pulse, close to the surface. Those who try it on tend to wear it. I have never had to say more than that.
